Yes! It’s hot, but the Crape Myrtles are blooming, but you say… “everything is wilting.” Yes! I know, It’s hot, but we get to get outside in the water! I know, I know, It is super hot, but we get fresh veggies out of the garden! “There’s bugs,” you say, hmm, yeah, you’ve got a point there, I know, I really don’t like chiggers, but we get to have great get togethers with family and friends, and not only that but we get to celebrate that we live in the United States of America, where freedom came at a cost for many of our loved ones who either served or sadly may have died serving. We are blessed beyond measure and spoiled to the core. We can go into air conditioning, we can spray bug spray, we have a phone at our fingertips, we can order food to be delivered to us, drive wherever we want, go to a church of our choosing, so, yeah, I know it’s hot, but let’s take a moment to reflect on all our blessings around us and the ability to get out of the heat!
Thank you God for a country who stands as One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty, and justice for all.
Decisions…, decisions……that’s what’s up! What do you like? Are you very particular? Do you just say, “eh, whatever.”
“Do you like Coke, Dr Pepper, or Root Beer?”, “Which color do you want?”, “Would you like pie or cake?”, “Do you want a burger or hotdog?”, “Would you rather sew, paint or make wreaths?”, “What music do you like?”, “Do you like to knit or crochet?” (Well actually I do like knitting more.), “Do you like living in the city or the country?”, “Summer or winter?”, “Roses or daisies?”. Okay, so you get my point. It’s not that I am indecisive or I don’t know what I like. It’s not that I don’t care, in fact, I am very particular. My husband will vouch, so why do I find it a pain to have to choose one or the other of something? What’s wrong with liking more than one of something? The answer…I have no idea, but until I find a good reason to choose just one, my answer is, “I’ll have some of each, thank you very much.”
In this website you will find the doors to all of the things I like, love, enjoy, create, and do. Not just recipes, not just gardening, not just traveling, not just home decor, but a little of each, thank you very much!
Having said all that, I find that it’s much easier to say what I don’t like.

To navigate this website in the easiest way possible, click the link at the top, “Check out what’s up”. In almost every category there is a drop down arrow that leads to more categories, for instance, in kitchen, if you click the down arrow, you will find the kitchen remodel. In the Creativity Room, the down arrow will allow you to go to painting, sewing, card making, etc… You don’t want to miss them!
